Schedule Early Beginnings
The program at each age level at Early Beginnings is based on the developmental stages of each child. At all levels there is a flexibility that attempts to serve the needs of the children in that room.
INFANT AND TODDLER
In an infant room, the staff is attentive to the physical needs of each child, while talking to them as they encourage language development. As the child grows, more stimulating toys and activities are presented to help the child grow intellectually. For the very young children (under 18 months), the schedule is according to the individual needs of each child. The toddler schedule tends to be a bit more structured, but still flexible according to the needs of each child. The teacher - child ratio for all children under 3 is four children to one adult. Toddlers are encouraged to try toileting themselves. After age three, when they are fully toilet trained, they will be "promoted" to the Preschool program.

As with our other activities, indoor and outdoor supervision depends on the number of children in attendance. It is our policy to maintain a teacher-staff/child ratio of no more than 1 to 10.
